Yamaha XV950 Bolt / SCR950 (2013-on)
Fit and finish of the windscreen is excellent. Just the right size to keep the wind off your chest area while not detracting crime the bikes looks. Quality hardware and screen, would definitely recommend.
Easy to install same looks great on my Yamaha SCR950
Too short and wished it was a few inches taller .
Used a Marlin on my 2016 Moto Guzzi V7II, 2014 (uncrated 2017) Honda CB1100, 2022 Triumph Bonneville Street Twin, 2023 Moto Guzzi V7-850 and now my 2024 Yamaha Bolt XVS950. Keeps wind (and bugs) off chest.
The Plus Mount clamps for the Bolt are the sturdiest. However, enclosed instructions should be modified, as the Plus is mounted out, not in.
1. Fit grommets to screen from back
2. Fit rubber collets to clamps, if not pre-assembled
3. Install clamps onto fork tubes ~1.5 inches (38 mm) from top yoke. With plus side in, snug rear M6 hex head bolt, leave front bolt loose enough to rotate clamp, then rotate 180 degrees to plus side out.
4. Install steel brackets to plus mount with M8 bolts and bezel
5. Fit screen to brackets with M6 pan head bolts
6. Adjust height of clamps so that screen properly clears headlight
7. Tighten screen bolts, bracket to clamp bolts, then using a L wrench tighten rear clamp bolt
Applying Johnson's Pledge works well to make bug removal easy
